Nigel Munsey from Dunlop Garage Equipment explains that they offer 2 commercial vehicle tyre changers in their range of wheel-care products.

The Dunlop DTM588 is an electro-hydraulic tyre changer, which enables wheel service of trucks, buses and tractors. It can handle wheel sizes of up to 59” diameter, rim clamping capacity of up to 26” and maximum wheel width of 30” and is suitable for changing wheels with tubed or tubeless tyres. 

The Dunlop DTM590 is designed for even larger wheels and can handle up to a maximum diameter of 90”, rim clamping of up to 42” and maximum wheel width of 43”.

Both models are operated from a remote console and have a fast action locking mount/demount arm. Since their introduction to the Dunlop range both machines have sold well and are always available ex stock from the Dunlop wheel-care warehouse at Mansfield.
