BrakeCheck will conduct a Service, Secondary & Parking brake test with ease and can also be used on vehicles such as, fork lifts, construction / quarry vehicles, agricultural tractors and trailers.

What does the test centre look for?

European Directive 91/422/EEC means all vehicles above 3.5 tonnes including trailers must have brakes installed with Automatic Slack Adjustment as standard. Test Station will check ASAs where installed and that there is no misalignment of stroke. A roadside check may require a function test; any failure will incur a prohibition. An Automatic Slack Adjuster is only an ASA when it is working. When it is not working the brake is considered faulty and the ASA must be replaced. Don't use them like manual adjusters.
